Frequently asked questions about Ortofon

Which 2M is right for me?

Roughly: red as a solid entry point, blue/bronze as a step up, black as the top of the MM range. Tell us your turntable and phono stage, and we'll recommend accordingly.

What do "Premounted" and "Verso" mean?

Premounted means it's delivered already mounted and ready. Verso is the version with a backward-facing stylus for certain tonearms. We'll explain what you need.

Do you mount the cartridge?

Yes, on request mounted and aligned ready to go – it protects your records and brings out the full sound.
