What's the point of a physical shop? You can offer everything online, can't you…
Because sound isn't something you learn from a spec sheet. Online you compare numbers — with us you hear the difference. You sit down, listen to different systems with your own music and immediately notice what suits you. On top of that you get advice, delivery, installation and service all from one place. The webshop never sleeps — but for the real experience, the trip to Wädenswil is worth it.
Does High-End audio have to be expensive?
No. High-End means well matched, not expensive. What matters is that source, amplifier and speakers work together — with your room and your music, not with the price on the label. We find a combination that blows you away for (almost) any budget. Sometimes the right affordable set sounds better than a wildly mismatched expensive one.
Why is right now a good time for a new purchase?
Because good music doesn't wait for the perfect moment. The technology has rarely been so mature and versatile — streaming, vinyl, CD, everything works together. And every evening with a mediocre system is an evening without goosebumps. Drop by, have a listen, and you'll know if now is your moment.
What's the most important component in a Hi-Fi system?
The honest answer: whichever one fits worst. A chain is only as good as its weakest link — source, amplifier, speakers and the room all have to work together. The room and speaker placement are the most underestimated of all. That's why we look at the whole picture, not just a single device.
Subwoofer — do you need one?
Not always — but if you do, do it properly. A well-integrated subwoofer gives your music its foundation and makes films feel physical, without “booming”. It even takes the load off your main speakers, so mids and highs become clearer. The art lies in calibration and placement — that's exactly where we help you.
