The Scansonic HD MB6 B is the floorstanding flagship of the MB series, with a ribbon tweeter and six 5.25-inch carbon drivers in a line-array arrangement.

Why the MB6 B?

Scansonic HD belongs, like Raidho, to the Danish manufacturer Dantax, and the ribbon tweeter comes from that same school: featherlight foil diaphragm, transparent highs without harshness. Grouped around it are two midrange drivers and four woofers, all with a rigid carbon diaphragm, arranged in a time-aligned line array.

These six drivers offer more cone area than a single large woofer while retaining the speed of small drivers. Reworked crossovers ensure a linear, natural response.

A large, precisely imaged soundstage with bass extension down to 27 Hz and an effortlessness that only plenty of cone area can deliver. The MB6 B resolves the finest nuances and stays composed and clean even at high levels. Highs, mids and bass mesh seamlessly.
