The Scansonic HD front grille for the MB6 B is a pair of magnetic black fabric covers that protect the large floorstanding speaker's drivers from dust and touch.

We deliberately ship the MB6 B without fabric placed in front – the flagship of the MB range is allowed to show its front. If you like the classic, understated look, or want to safeguard the drivers in everyday use, simply attach the matching grilles magnetically. No tools needed, and it's always supplied as a pair.

Who is the front grille useful for?

Straight talk: for that last bit of airiness you listen without it, for everyday life with kids and cats you listen with it. Honestly – on a speaker like this, the protection is a cheap insurance policy.

Frequently asked questions

Is the price for a pair or for a single front grille?

The price is for a pair, so two grilles for your two MB6 B. We don't carry them individually – half a set on a speaker pair this size wouldn't make sense anyway. If you need a replacement for just one, get in touch with us.

Does the MB6 B come with a front grille?

No. The MB6 B ships without front grilles so the front stays clean. We carry the matching magnetic grille pair in black here as a separate accessory – fittable at any point in time, with no intervention on the speaker.

How are the grilles attached?

Magnetically and without tools. Each grille clicks into place over hidden magnets and comes off just as fast – entirely according to the listening situation. You don't need to change anything on the cabinet itself.

Why buy the front grille pair for the MB6 B from HD Zürisee?

Because we know the flagship of the MB range well and know exactly which accessory belongs with it. In Wädenswil we advise you in person and deliver the right part – by phone, WhatsApp or email.
