Collection: SCANSONIC HD

Scansonic HD comes from Denmark and benefits from its proximity to the high-end forge Raidho – some of that technology trickles down into far more affordable speakers. The trademark is the ribbon tweeter, which delivers a fine, airy top end. We carry the MB, M and Q series, demo-ready by Lake Zurich.

The Scansonic range with us

  • Bookshelf speakers – the MB1 B and the more compact M15.2 for small to medium rooms.
  • Floorstanding speakers – the MB series (MB2.5 to MB8), the newer M series (M15.2 to M30.2) and the Q series (Q3, Q8, Q10) for different room sizes and budgets.
  • Centre & subwoofer – the MB Center B for home cinema and the active MB10 subwoofer for extra depth.
  • Accessories – Twin Stand and Single Stand for the bookshelf speakers, plus front grilles for several models.

Honestly

Scansonic is a clever tip if you want ribbon-tweeter treble and a slice of Raidho DNA without paying Raidho prices. In return, the build is more down-to-earth than its big sister, and the speakers reward a decent amplifier with noticeably more sound. For the price, this is a very grown-up sound.
