If you're after the latest technical bells and whistles, you'll find more features elsewhere; Thorens bets on solidity and tradition. We adjust it fully at ours.

Belt drive or direct drive with Thorens?

Both are in the lineup: belt drive (e.g. TD 1500/1600) runs very quietly, direct drive (TD 124 DD) offers constant speed and torque. We'll tell you what suits you.

Does the turntable come with a cartridge?

Depends on the model – some come pre-fitted, on others you choose freely. We mount and adjust it fully on request.

Can I look at Thorens at your place?

Yes, in Wädenswil. With turntables, a proper handover matters more to us than a quick demo.
