Sonorous builds HiFi and TV furniture where design and function come together – glass, aluminium and clean lines, with an eye on cable management and ventilation. Lowboards, TV floor stands and speaker stands that carry your system and make it look good. At our place by Lake Zurich, fully assembled on request.

Important for shipping: The TV lowboards (Elements, Studio and Retro 180) arrive fully assembled and therefore travel by freight carrier – for these we charge a flat CHF 100, and our usual free delivery from CHF 190 unfortunately doesn't apply here. TV floor stands and speaker stands aren't affected and are delivered as usual (free from CHF 190, otherwise a flat CHF 20).

The Sonorous range we carry

• TV lowboards – wide glass sideboards for TVs and electronics, some with an acoustically transparent front to hide a soundbar behind it.
• TV floor stands – rolling, swivelling glass-and-aluminium floor stands for TVs, no wall drilling needed.
• Speaker stands – pairs of glass stands that bring bookshelf speakers up to the right height.

Sonorous is design plus function – it costs more than a cheap rack, but you get stability and thoughtful build quality. It's important to watch the weight limit and ventilation: heavy power amps and hot-running devices need the right model. That's exactly what we look at with you before anything gets ordered.

How much weight can a Sonorous piece of furniture carry?

It varies by model. Tell us your devices – especially heavy power amps or turntables – and we'll pick the correctly dimensioned piece of furniture.

Is there enough room for ventilation?

With the right model choice, yes. For heat-generating devices we make sure there are open compartments and enough airflow.

Do you assemble the furniture?

On request we deliver and assemble it, set up your system and route the cables cleanly. Just ask us.

Why does shipping cost CHF 100 for the TV lowboards?

The lowboards (Elements, Studio and Retro 180) come fully assembled and are therefore too bulky for our normal parcel carrier – delivery runs via a furniture freight carrier and costs a flat CHF 100, regardless of order value. TV floor stands and speaker stands, on the other hand, are delivered disassembled by parcel – here normal free delivery from CHF 190 applies, otherwise a flat CHF 20. Picking up in-store in Wädenswil waives the freight fee.
