With a footprint of 443 × 345 mm, it's the largest cover in the Thorens spare parts range — fitting for the biggest statement the brand currently makes.

Why this cover?

Yes. Both models use the same cabinet with an identical footprint, so it's the same cover. Differences between the two units lie in the equipment, such as the built-in phono stage, not in the chassis dimensions.

Does it also fit the TD 1500?

No. The TD 1500 is smaller and uses the cover with a 410 × 335 mm footprint, which it shares with the TD 101 A, TD 201, and TD 402 DD. This one measures 443 × 345 mm and would be noticeably too big — the similar model number regularly misleads people.

Are hinges included?
