Thorens Stabilizer Blue – Record Weight

The Thorens Stabilizer in blue is a record weight that presses the record firmly onto the platter — for better contact, calmer running and cleaner tracking, especially with slightly warped records.

Same function as the chrome version, just in a blue finish — a splash of colour on your turntable. Place it on, play, done.

Frequently asked questions

What does a record weight do?

It couples the record more tightly to the platter, reduces small vibrations, and keeps slightly warped records flatter. This can make tracking calmer and more stable. Make sure your platter bearing is designed for the extra weight — if in doubt, ask us.

Why buy the Thorens Stabilizer from HD Zürisee?

Because we'll tell you whether a weight makes sense for your turntable and suits its bearing. As an experienced team in Wädenswil, we give you honest advice — even when an accessory isn't the right call.
