The Scansonic HD Q3 is a slim 2.5-way floorstanding speaker with a ribbon tweeter and carbon drivers in a bass-reflex cabinet.

The Q series is the more accessible line among the Danes – the "little Raidhos", as the trade press likes to call them. In black, the Q3 comes across as understated and elegant at the same time.

Why the Q3?

Like Raidho, Scansonic HD belongs to the Danish manufacturer Dantax, and the Raidho-inspired ribbon tweeter is the heart of it: a feather-light foil diaphragm that renders highs silky and detailed. Below it, two 5.25-inch carbon drivers work in a 2.5-way arrangement for mids and bass.
