Scansonic HD is the more accessible brand from the Dantax house, which also owns Raidho – and the ribbon tweeter comes directly from that lineage. Its featherlight foil diaphragm, clamped at the edges, resolves highs silkily. The 5.25-inch driver with rigid carbon diaphragm delivers midrange and bass precisely and quickly.

The walnut veneer is real wood, not a print – that's what explains the price difference to the lacquered versions. Visually a source of warmth, technically tuned identically.
