The NAD CI S2 is a compact 2-zone network streaming module (1/3-width, 1U) for professional custom install systems on the BluOS platform. It delivers pure streaming with no amplifier of its own – ideal paired with an external amplifier such as the NAD CI PA4-60.

A high-quality ESS Sabre DAC (9039Q2M) natively resolves up to 192kHz/24-bit. Digital and analogue inputs and outputs, plus 12V trigger and IR connectivity, ensure seamless integration into control systems like Control4 or Crestron. Optionally powered via PoE, which simplifies wiring in the rack.

Do I also need a power amplifier?

Yes. The CI S2 is a pure streaming front end with no amplifier of its own. Pair it, for example, with the NAD CI PA4-60 or another amplifier with a line input.

Can I power the CI S2 over the network cable?

Yes, the module is PoE-capable – saving you a separate power supply and power cable in the rack, provided your switch supports PoE.
