The IsoTek V5 Elektra is a full-width mains conditioner with six individually filtered outlets – each with its own cleaning network.

Elektra is the entry point into IsoTek's component conditioners: a classic HiFi-format chassis with six cleanly separated power branches – four medium-current (5 A) for sources and preamps, two higher-capacity (10 A) for amplifiers, active subwoofers or the TV.

Why the V5 Elektra?

Six individual networks in one chassis means six filters instead of one shared busbar. No component pushes its noise onto the next. IsoTek's KERP principle (Kirchhoff's Equal Resistance Path) ensures every outlet gets the same resistance and the same current delivery – no connection is put at a disadvantage. Compared with the old EVO3 Aquarius, the network offers double the inductance and around 40% more current, and surge protection sits at four times the minimum requirement: 67,500 A. The EVO3 Initium cable is included.

What you hear

A more open, spacious soundstage and more micro-dynamics – details that used to get lost in mains noise become tangible, timing feels more immediate. The Elektra doesn't make your system sound "different"; it removes the background noise everything else sits on.

Who is the V5 Elektra for? (and who it's not for — straight talk)

The right choice for a complete, mid-sized system ready to move from a power strip to a real component conditioner. Straight talk: if you run large, power-hungry power amps or monoblocks, go for the 16 A high-current outlets on Aquarius, Sigmas or Titan – the Elektra's 10 A design is plenty for most integrated amps, but not for every powerhouse. As an honest entry into the conditioner segment, it's hard to beat.

Our verdict

The V5 Elektra brings IsoTek's principle of individually filtered outlets into a sensible price bracket: six dedicated networks, solid protection, cable included. The most honest route from power strip to a real mains conditioner.

Frequently asked questions

What's the difference between the IsoTek V5 Elektra and Aquarius?

Both are component conditioners with six separate outlets. The Aquarius has the stronger 16 A input, two 16 A high-current outlets and the Premier cable; the Elektra runs a 10 A input, 2×10 A high current and the Initium cable. Elektra is the entry point, Aquarius the step above.

Does the IsoTek V5 Elektra come with a mains cable?

Yes. Included is an IsoTek EVO3 Initium mains cable (1.5 m), matching the CH or EU outlet. For more sound quality you can upgrade to a higher-grade IsoTek cable later, but it isn't necessary.

Why buy the IsoTek V5 Elektra at HD Zürisee?

Because the choice between Elektra, Aquarius and Sigmas depends on your power amps and your budget. HD Zürisee in Wädenswil walks through this with you, supplies as an authorized IsoTek dealer with its own technician, and installs on-site on request.
