IsoTek from England specialises in power conditioning — mains filters, mains blocks and mains cables designed to keep disturbances off the mains. From a single filter plug to a large conditioning unit. At our place on Lake Zurich, tested on your system on request.

  • Mains filters & conditioning – from entry-level to the large multi-unit conditioners.
  • Mains blocks – filtered power strips for the whole system.
  • Mains cables – graded series for source, amplifier and filter.

Honestly

Clean power supply can be audible — how much depends on your mains and your system. On a quiet line it brings less than on a disturbed one. It's not a cure-all and not a starting point: room and speakers come first. We'll tell you honestly whether a filter is worth it for you.

Frequently asked questions about IsoTek

Do I even need a mains filter?

Not everyone does. In environments with a lot of interference (dimmers, many switch-mode power supplies) it's more worthwhile. We'll try it out at your place before you invest.

Filter, or straight to a conditioning unit?

Depends on the number of devices and budget. A multi-unit conditioner supplies the whole chain, a filter plug targets a single device. We'll narrow it down with you.

Does a mains filter harm the power amplifier?

With correctly sized IsoTek solutions, no — the high-current outputs are designed for power amplifiers. What matters is the right unit, and that's what we advise you on.
