IsoTek EVO3 Syncro Uni 16 A DC Blocker, Black

The IsoTek EVO3 Syncro Uni 16 A is a DC blocker and mains pre-filter for high currents that removes DC components from the power grid and thereby stops the mechanical hum of even large transformers.

Thanks to its 16 A rating and C20 input, it is the pre-filter for the devices that really draw power: powerful power amplifiers, active speakers or a whole chain behind a power strip. It rebalances the sine wave around the zero line and relieves the transformer of the burden of fighting the mains.

Why the EVO3 Syncro Uni 16 A?

DC in the AC mains drives toroidal transformers into saturation – they hum, run warm and age faster. The Syncro Uni tackles this without colouring the sound. Inside, silver-plated OCC copper conductors do the work; the housing is steel and aluminium. This model belongs to the EVO3 generation; we list the more recent V5 generation as a separate product.

Which power cable do I need for the EVO3 Syncro Uni 16 A?

The input is a C20 socket, so the cable from the wall ends with a C19 plug. IsoTek power cables with a C19 connector fit. At the output the Syncro Uni expects a Schuko plug. We are happy to put together the right combination for you.

What is the difference between 10 A and 16 A?

The 10 A version has a C14 input and is intended for single amplifiers or sources. The 16 A version with C20 input can handle higher currents and is suited to powerful power amplifiers or as a pre-filter in front of a whole chain.

Is the Syncro Uni also available in silver?
