The Canton Smart Sub 12 is an active wireless subwoofer with a 308 mm down-firing woofer in a sealed enclosure, which automatically works together with your Canton Smart system via its own 5.8 GHz radio link.

This version wears silky matte white with a polished, tempered glass top plate – made for bright rooms where a black cube would look like a foreign object. 220 watts of music power, 24 Hz depth, no signal cable needed. Delivered as a single unit.

Why the Canton Smart Sub 12?

A sealed enclosure is the more demanding design: it requires more amplifier power and more cone area than a bass reflex construction, but rewards that with bass that stops when the music stops. Who is the Canton Smart Sub 12 suitable for?

Honestly: this sub wants space. In large living spaces and home cinemas, it puts its cone area to work and lays down a foundation a compact sub can't deliver. In a small room, on the other hand, it mainly excites room modes – there the Smart Sub 8 is the more sensible choice.
