The Canton Atelier InWall 11 is a flat 3-way in-wall speaker that makes stereo and front sound disappear flush into the wall.
All that's visible is a frameless, silk-matte white fabric cover – everything else sits behind the wall plane at 8.2 cm installation depth. If you want big sound without a piece of furniture next to it, this gives you both at once.
Why the Atelier InWall 11?
Because flat doesn't have to mean thin-sounding. Two 174 mm woofers in aluminium-titanium work together with two passive radiators, pulling extension down to 32 Hz out of a panel barely deeper than a bookshelf. The 25 mm aluminium tweeter sits between them, keeping voices and fine detail at ear height.
What you hear
Bass with contour instead of wall-thump, clean mids, treble that still doesn't grate after the third hour. As a stereo pair in the living room, or as the left and right front in a built-in home cinema, the InWall 11 builds a stage that feels noticeably bigger than the wall opening suggests.
Who is the Atelier InWall 11 suited for?
For anything that's planned: new build, renovation, media wall, a living room with a clean look. Straight talk: if you want to set something up today and rearrange it next month, you're better served with a freestanding speaker – an in-wall speaker doesn't move house. It's also not made for bathrooms, saunas or outdoor areas.
Our verdict
One of the most elegant ways to bring serious hi-fi into a room without the room noticing. When architecture and acoustics usually clash, the InWall 11 is the referee – and it calls the game surprisingly well.

Frequently asked questions
What wall cutout and installation depth does the Atelier InWall 11 need?
The wall cutout measures 28.5 × 111 cm, the installation depth is 8.2 cm. That fits the InWall 11 into standard drywall and into prepared solid walls. Whether your specific wall structure cooperates is something we check together before the first cut – ideally using your plans or a photo.
Do I need to build a back chamber behind the speaker?
The InWall 11 works as a bass-reflex system with its own passive radiators and is designed to be set into the wall cavity. How much insulation or sealing your structure additionally needs depends on the framing and the neighbouring room. Mauri, our technician, assesses that on site.
Is the InWall 11 suited for stereo or for home cinema?
Both. As a pair it plays full-fledged stereo, and as the left and right front it forms the basis of an invisible home cinema. For dialogue, you add the matching centre, the Atelier InWall 11 C. We work out beforehand, not afterwards, which combination suits your room.
Is the Atelier InWall 11 delivered singly or in pairs?
Singly. Canton lists the Atelier InWall 11 as an individual speaker, and accordingly our sales unit is also per piece. For classic stereo, or a left-and-right front, you need two pieces; for home cinema the centre is added. We put the parts list together for you.
Why buy the Canton Atelier InWall 11 from HD Zürisee?
Because an in-wall speaker stands or falls with the planning: wall structure, height, cable routing, amplifier. We at HD Zürisee in Wädenswil have done this for years, think through your room with you, and send Mauri for installation and wiring. Call us or drop us a short message.

More models for the wall are under wall speakers, the matching centre channel under centre speakers. For the last bit of low-end, take a look at the subwoofers, the electronics to go with them are under amplifiers. We also have matching speaker cables for in-wall routing, and the full range of the brand is in the Canton world.
