The Tannoy Arden Legacy is a 2-way floorstanding speaker that combines a 15-inch Dual Concentric driver in a classic walnut cabinet, handmade in Scotland.

Who is the Arden Legacy suited for?

For large rooms, and for anyone who'd rather experience music than analyse it. Bottom line: if your listening distance is less than about 3.5 metres, you're not doing yourself any favours – the Arden builds its soundstage so large that sitting too close feels like an oversized pair of headphones. The Cheviot is the more honest choice there. And if you're after slim columns for a minimalist living room: honestly, you already know this isn't it.

The Arden isn't a speaker you buy because the datasheet wins the argument. You buy it because it has a way of playing that barely exists anywhere else anymore – big, relaxed, physical.
