HD ONE and HD TWO are the two in-house speaker cable lines from HD Zürisee – made by hand for us in Wädenswil, to the exact length you actually need.

Cable is the component with the most myth attached and the least explained. We do it the other way round: a proper cross-section, clean conductor material, clean assembly – and a price that doesn't pay for any brand mythology.

The two lines

HD TWO – our best-selling house cable and the sensible choice for the vast majority of systems. Two conductors, solid substance, done.
HD ONE – the larger line with separately routed conductors for the treble and bass branches, available as single-wire, bi-wire and bi-amp.

Straight talk

What's the difference between HD ONE and HD TWO?

The construction. HD TWO is two-conductor and suits most systems. HD ONE routes the treble and bass branches separately and is available as single-wire, bi-wire and bi-amp – useful where the speakers bring two pairs of terminals.

Single-wire, bi-wire or bi-amp – what do I need?

One pair of terminals on the speaker means single-wire. Two pairs of terminals open up bi-wire, and if your amplifier provides two pairs of channels per side, bi-amp with two power amps comes into play. Write to us with your equipment, and we'll tell you what fits.
