The CR-Tech Sound Supports 5035 are decoupling feet with an M6 thread that separate medium-heavy speakers from the floor via a two-stage damping system. You get them here as a set of 4 – enough to equip exactly one speaker with four contact points.
Developed and made by crTech in Switzerland, as a further development of the flatter 5023. 50 mm diameter, 35 mm height, M6 internal thread: you screw them in place of the original feet or spikes. If your speaker has a different thread, matching adapters are available.
Why the Sound Supports 5035?
A speaker that's working pushes energy into its footprint. A hard-coupled floor happily absorbs that energy and gives it back, delayed and diffuse – your parquet then plays quietly along, uninvited. The two-stage system in the 5035 stops exactly that: vertical forces never make it into the floor at all, horizontal ones are dissipated in a controlled way.
Compared with the flatter 5023, the 5035 has more height and therefore more damping travel. It's designed for medium-heavy speakers: the manufacturer's chart names a range of roughly 20 to 60 kg, distribution specifies a load capacity of up to 80 kg per foot.
What you hear
The bass stands out first. It becomes drier and more defined, because the floor's ringing sustain is missing. Then you notice it in the midrange: voices stand more calmly, instruments keep their edges. No effects box, no big aha moment – just the feeling that someone tidied up the room.
Who are the Sound Supports 5035 suited for – and who aren't they for?
For medium-heavy floorstanding speakers with an M6 threaded hole, especially on hard floors – concrete, screed, tile, floating parquet. That's where direct coupling shows its worst, and that's where the gain is greatest.
Straight talk: under truly heavy speakers beyond 60 kg, the 5035 is undersized – that's where the larger 6540 with M8 thread belongs. Under light bookshelf speakers, turntables or electronics it's overkill in the other direction – that's what the 5023 and 5017 are for. And if you haven't got placement and room under control yet, that's where you get more sound for less effort. Decoupling is fine-tuning, not the foundation.
Our verdict
The sweet spot of the range. Enough headroom for full-size floorstanders without having to reach straight for the big 6540 – and with the 4-piece set, one speaker is fully equipped, which makes the maths pleasantly simple: one pair of speakers, two sets. Which size suits your model and your floor construction, we're happy to work out with you at HD Zürisee in Wädenswil.

Frequently asked questions
How many Sound Supports 5035 do I need?
A 4-piece set equips one speaker with four contact points. For a pair of floorstanders you therefore need two sets. If your speaker has only three threaded holes, one foot is left over. Tell us your model and we'll work out the quantity together beforehand – so you order neither too few nor too many.
What speakers is the 5035 made for?
For medium-heavy speakers. The manufacturer names a range of roughly 20 to 60 kilograms, the distributor gives a load capacity of up to 80 kilograms per foot. Above that, the larger 6540 with M8 thread takes over; below it, the 5023 or 5017 are entirely sufficient for light speakers and devices.
What if my speakers don't have an M6 thread?
Then you need a thread adapter. The 5035 has an M6 internal thread and is screwed in place of the original feet or spikes; for different thread sizes, crTech offers matching adapters. Tell us what connection your speaker has and we'll get you the right part along with it.
