The CR-Tech Sound Supports 5023 are a set of 4 decoupling feet with M6 thread, screwed firmly to speakers and electronics in place of existing equipment feet or spikes.

Like the whole family, they come from Swiss development and manufacturing. The difference to the threadless 5017 lies in the connection: the 5023 doesn't sit under the unit, it becomes part of it. If the existing thread doesn't match, adapters to other sizes are available. You choose the hardness grade and colour directly above.

Why the 5023?

A firm, defined screw connection channels vibration energy into the damping system more purposefully than a loosely placed absorber that loses its position with every shift. You unscrew the original feet or spikes, screw in the 5023 – done. From then on the foot absorbs whatever vibration the chassis, transformer or drive produces, and dissipates it in a controlled way instead of passing it on to floor and furniture.

That makes it the all-rounder of the range: it fits under light speakers just as well as under preamps, power amps, CD players, turntables or servers – anywhere an M6 hole sits, or an adapter makes it accessible.

What you gain

First in the bass: it becomes tighter and better defined, because less energy seeps away unused into the rack or the floor. After that, the calm around it stands out – voices and instruments separate more clearly from one another, the imaging stands more stably in the room. Sounds unspectacular, but that's exactly the point: nothing is added, something falls away.

Who's the 5023 for – and who isn't it for?

For anything up to around 30 kg that comes with an M6 threaded hole – speakers as well as equipment, screwed firmly rather than merely placed underneath.

Plain talk: if your cabinet stands on spikes and you want to keep their angle, take the threadless 5017. If it gets heavier – medium-sized floorstanders and up – the 5035 or 6540 are the right choice, the 5023 isn't designed for that. And if your unit has no threaded hole at all, clarify the adapter with us beforehand instead of ordering on a hunch.

Our verdict

The most versatile foot in the range – first choice wherever an M6 hole sits, and more effective than any loosely placed disc. Thread, hardness grade and quantity are what decide the outcome; get that trio right and the result is right. That's exactly what we work out with you in advance at HD Zürisee in Wädenswil, adapters included.

Frequently asked questions

Do the 5023 fit my speaker?

If your cabinet or unit has an M6 threaded hole for feet, they fit directly. For different thread sizes, matching adapters are available. If in doubt, tell us the brand and model, and we'll clarify what you need beforehand – that saves you a return.

What's the difference to the 5017?

The mounting. The 5023 is screwed in with M6 thread and sits firmly, the 5017 is placed threadless under an existing spike or original foot. Choose the 5023 for threaded holes, the 5017 for spiked cabinets whose tilt should be preserved.

How many feet do I need?

As many as your speaker or unit has contact points – usually four, which is why the set is put together that way. If your cabinet stands on three spikes, one set isn't enough for a pair. Tell us briefly what you have, and we'll work out the quantity before you order.

Which hardness grade do I need?

What matters is the load per foot: the heavier the speaker or unit, the higher the Shore rating. The shop offers 17, 30 and 45 Shore, further hardnesses we source on request. Give us the weight and model, and the choice will be right first try.

Why buy the CR-Tech Sound Supports 5023 from HD Zürisee?

Because thread, hardness grade and quantity decide the effect – and we go through that with you before the purchase instead of letting you guess. Our technician Mauri fits the feet on site on request. You can reach us on 044 680 22 00 or on WhatsApp 076 534 22 00 (text only, no calls).

Goes well with

Screwed in, the 5023 is used under cabinets as much as under electronics. Our Floorstanding Speakers, our Hi-Fi Electronics and the rest of our Decoupling range, where you'll also find the thread adapters, all pair well with it.
