Canton Atelier OnWall 9 C Center On-Wall Speaker, Black (Each)

The Canton Atelier OnWall 9 C is a center on-wall speaker that puts the dialogue channel of a more compact home cinema visibly on the wall.

It's matched to the Atelier OnWall 9 fronts and mounts horizontally on the same VESA bracket, usually right under the TV. No wall cut-out, no dust.

Why the Atelier OnWall 9 C?

Because a good center needs more than two drivers flanking a tweeter. A 128 mm aluminium-titanium midrange driver, its own woofer and two passive radiators give voices substance without the horizontal form factor buckling under the job.

What you hear

Dialogue with body that doesn't float between the front speakers but stays firmly anchored to the picture. The handover to the OnWall 9 fronts stays seamless through camera pans – even from the edge of the sofa.

Who is the Atelier OnWall 9 C for?

For mounted, medium-sized home cinemas, ideally paired with the Atelier OnWall 9 as fronts. Bottom line: if you mostly listen in stereo, you don't need a center – put that budget into the fronts instead. And if you want a completely invisible wall, go for the InWall 9 C.

Our verdict

The logical partner to the OnWall 9 fronts, mounted rather than built in – the pragmatic answer for anyone who can't or doesn't want to cut a hole in the wall.

Frequently asked questions

How is the Atelier OnWall 9 C mounted?

Via a VESA-compatible bracket (100 × 100 mm), oriented horizontally, usually below the TV. A wall cut-out is not needed at all. We fine-tune the exact position with you based on your seating position and screen size.

Does the OnWall 9 C match the Atelier OnWall 9 fronts?

Yes, both share the same drivers and frequency response, just mounted horizontally instead of vertically. That gives a homogeneous front stage with no audible break during pans. We're happy to check other combinations for you too.

Why do I even need a dedicated center at all?

The center reproduces dialogue and anchors it firmly to the picture. Without it, voices float between the front speakers as soon as you sit off-axis. That makes a clear difference especially with quietly mixed series.

Is the Atelier OnWall 9 C delivered individually?

Yes, the sales unit is one piece. You order fronts and subwoofer separately – we put together the complete parts list for your setup before you order.

Why buy the Canton Atelier OnWall 9 C from HD Zürisee?

Because a home cinema works as a system, not as a single part. We match center, fronts and amplifier to each other, and Mauri handles on-site installation if needed. Tell us about your room – we'll think it through with you.

Goes well with

The matching fronts are under wall speakers, more dialogue channels under center speakers. Effects channels are with the home cinema speakers, the foundation with the subwoofers. Amplifiers are under amplifiers, the full brand range in the Canton world.
