The Argon Audio TT Signature is the flagship of the series: a pre-mounted Ortofon 2M Black, a direct-wired carbon tonearm, and a spring-suspended chassis ("floating plinth") set it apart from the regular TT models. The genuine walnut veneer underlines the ambition to combine vintage looks with modern precision.

Why the TT Signature?

The photosensor-controlled motor keeps the speed especially stable – with ≤ 0.04% wow and flutter, the TT Signature reaches the best figure of the entire Argon TT range. The spring-suspended chassis decouples the deck and tonearm from knocks and footfall, and the direct-wired carbon tonearm minimizes solder joints in the signal path. The Ortofon 2M Black is one of the best MM cartridges on the market.

Is the TT Signature also available in black?

The current supplier list carries a black version, but the manufacturer currently officially markets the TT Signature only in walnut and dark cherry. For now we've only listed the confirmed walnut version – get in touch if you're specifically after a black variant, we're happy to check directly with the manufacturer.

Do I need a phono preamp?

Yes. Like the TT3, the TT Signature has no built-in phono preamp – you need an amplifier with a phono input or an external phono stage, matched to the high-quality 2M Black.
