The Yamaha True X Surround Set (PK-TRUE50A) is a wireless Dolby Atmos complete set consisting of the True X Bar 50A, a wireless subwoofer and two True X Speaker 1A units as rear speakers.
The complete True X experience in one package: real surround, entirely without speaker cables in the room. The bar plus wireless sub take care of the front and the foundation, while the two True X speakers handle the rear channels – all connections run wirelessly.
Why the True X Set?
Because it's the simplest way to real, cable-free home cinema: unbox, connect the bar to the TV via HDMI, place the rears, done. No AV receiver, no running cables, no compromise between looks and sound. The result is an all-round, enclosed soundstage that a solo soundbar can't achieve.
What you hear
A room-filling 4.1.2 Atmos soundstage: front and height from the bar, depth from the wireless sub, surround effects precisely from the two rears behind you. The “Clear Voice” function keeps dialogue clearly intelligible even when the action gets intense.
Who is the True X Set suited for? (Straight talk)
For anyone who wants the full Atmos surround effect – without an AV receiver, without cable clutter, without large floorstanding speakers. Straight talk: this is lifestyle surround: wonderfully wireless, flexible and living-room-friendly, but not a wired high-end home cinema. The wireless rears each need a power outlet or need to be charged. If you're after exactly this all-round experience without the technical hassle, this is the most coherent True X package.
Our verdict
The most well-rounded offering in the True X family: everything included, instant surround, completely wireless. If you were going to expand the system anyway, the set works out cheaper and simpler than buying individually. We're happy to set it up for you at HD Zürisee in Wädenswil.

Frequently asked questions
What's included in the PK-TRUE50A?
The True X Bar 50A with wireless subwoofer and two True X Speaker 1A as wireless rear speakers – a complete, ready-to-use surround set.
Is this real surround sound?
Yes. Unlike with a solo soundbar, the two True X speakers give you real rear speakers behind you, connected wirelessly – together with the bar's Atmos height channels, a 4.1.2 soundstage.
Do I need an AV receiver?
No. The bar connects directly to the TV via HDMI eARC, so a separate receiver isn't needed. The rear speakers just need power or a charge.
Why buy the True X Set from HD Zürisee?
Because we set up the complete system for you and, on request, place it on site – including advice on positioning the rears and connecting the TV. Our technician Mauri handles questions about setup or service, all from a single source in Wädenswil.
