Yamaha NS-P41 – complete 5.1 speaker set for home cinema

The NS-P41 is the easy way into surround home cinema: five compact speakers plus a subwoofer in one set – already matched to each other, small in the room and easy to set up. Ideal as a speaker package for a Yamaha AV receiver such as the RX-V4A or TSR-400.

What's inside

Two front speakers, two surround speakers and a center channel create the all-round soundstage, while the subwoofer provides the low-end foundation for explosions and music. The satellites are small enough to disappear on a shelf, on stands or mounted on the wall.

Straight talk – what you should know

The NS-P41 is a passive set and needs an AV receiver to drive the channels – on its own it makes no sound. It's an entry-level surround package: great for coherent, room-filling movie sound, but for audiophile stereo listening, separate floorstanding speakers are the better choice. As an affordable, clean start into 5.1 home cinema, it does exactly what it's meant to do.

Yes, the NS-P41 is passive and needs an AV receiver (e.g. Yamaha RX-V4A or TSR-400) to drive the five channels and the subwoofer.

What's included in the set?

Four satellites, one center speaker and one subwoofer – a complete 5.1 speaker package.

Why buy the NS-P41 from HD Zürisee?

Because a passive set like the NS-P41 needs the right AV receiver to match, otherwise it stays silent – that's exactly the matching we take care of at HD Zürisee in Wädenswil. Since 1997 we've been pairing speaker packages with receivers such as the RX-V4A or TSR-400 for a coherent 5.1 starter system.
