The Woodbang Swell is a made-to-measure acoustic wall cladding in PET felt with a large-format, wave-shaped parametric structure – a size up from the individual Wave or Flow panels.

Why the Swell?

Because a whole wall made from one continuous wave relief has a completely different effect than several individual panels side by side – Swell is made for exactly that impact, including a noticeable acoustic improvement across the entire surface.

What you get

A made-to-measure wall cladding of PET felt slats, mounted on grooved brackets, in the reference width of 200 cm (36 pieces) in two depths – Shallow or Deep – and three standard colours. Woodbang produces larger or custom dimensions on request.

Who is the Swell for? (and who isn't it for)

For listening rooms, home cinemas, and studios that want to turn a whole wall into a striking architectural element. Despite its complex parametric look, Swell is designed for straightforward installation: the back plates come with pre-fitted hook-and-loop strips – you simply peel off the protective film and attach them to the wall. Every piece is numbered and easy to identify. Once the back plates are securely mounted, you just slide each element into its matching groove – no complicated process, no special tools needed.

Shallow, at 11.8 cm depth (3 boards), is the flatter version; Deep, at 18.4 cm depth (4 boards), has a bolder relief and a higher price.

Can I order Swell in a width other than 200 cm?

Yes, Swell is a custom-dimension solution – we take the measurements of your desired wall area with you and get an individual quote from Woodbang for it. Larger areas cost a surcharge per additional board.

What colours are available for Swell?

Light Beige, Beige, or Dark Grey as standard. Other colours are possible for a surcharge – the exact cost is in the current Woodbang price list, contact us for a quote.

How is Swell mounted?

As standard, with contact adhesive or self-adhesive hook-and-loop plus contact adhesive – both at no surcharge. Optional magnetic mounting with a 12 mm wall gap is available for a surcharge of CHF 90. Given the size and weight involved, we recommend installation by professionals or our installation service.

Is Swell also available as a diffusor?

Yes, Woodbang also produces the Parametric models on request as a diffusor or as a hybrid version (absorption and diffusion combined). This is not a standard shop variant – contact us for details and pricing.
