ViaBlue X-60 T6S Mains Cable (6.0 mm²)

The ViaBlue X-60 T6S is a high-end mains cable with 6.0 mm² cross-section and an IEC C15 appliance connector – the right connection for most amplifiers, streamers and mains filters with standard cold-appliance inlets.

A complete, 100% continuous shielding keeps interference fields such as mobile signals away from the signal path, silver-plated OFC conductors provide clean, crystal-clear power transport. The solid T6S mains connectors, with 24-carat gold-plated contacts and a break-resistant sleeve, are available on request with a Schuko (EU), Swiss Type J or US 5-15P plug – an included ferrite filter additionally reduces high-frequency interference.

What you get

You get a fully terminated mains cable with a C15 appliance connector and either a Schuko (EU), Type J (Switzerland) or 5-15P (US) plug, in five lengths from 100 to 500 centimetres and in Cobra or Black. C15 fits the common cold-appliance socket found on most amplifiers, streamers and mains filters – for components with the larger C19/C20 high-current socket, there's our X-60 Silver Power instead.

Who is the X-60 T6S suitable for?

Designed for all common hi-fi and home cinema components with a standard cold-appliance socket (C14/C15) – from integrated amplifiers to streamers to mains filters. If your component has a larger C20 high-current socket, for instance on a powerful power amp, you need our X-60 Silver Power with a C19 connector instead.

Frequently asked questions

Does the X-60 T6S fit my component?

If your component has the usual cold-appliance socket (C14), yes – the X-60 T6S uses the matching C15 connector side. If your component has a larger, usually rectangular C20 high-current socket, you need our X-60 Silver Power with a C19 connector instead.

Schuko, Type J or 5-15P – which plug do I need?

In Switzerland, the Type J plug is the right choice for a standard Swiss socket outlet, without an adapter. Schuko fits Schuko sockets and power strips (e.g. in the EU), 5-15P is the American plug for US outlets.

What does the included ferrite filter do?

The VIABLUE ferrite filter consists of a ferrite core in a metal housing and reduces high-frequency interference fields and ground loops in addition to the continuous cable shielding.
