The ViaBlue X-60 Silver Power is a high-end mains cable with 6.0 mm² cross-section and a C19 high-current inlet – for power amps, mains filters and power distributors with high power demands.
A complete, 100% continuous shielding keeps interference fields such as mobile signals away from the signal path, while silver-plated OFC conductors provide clean, crystal-clear power transport. The large cross-section provides headroom that only components with genuinely high current demands actually use – a small streamer or preamp barely benefits from it.
What you get
You get a fully terminated mains cable with a C19 appliance connector and either a Schuko (EU) or 5-15P (US) plug, in five lengths from 100 to 500 centimetres and in Cobra or Black. C19 fits the larger C20 chassis inlets found on powerful power amps and mains filters – not the standard C14 sockets on most source components.
Who is the X-60 Silver Power suitable for?
Designed for powerful power amps, large integrated amplifiers and mains filters with a C20 high-current connection. If your component has the usual C14 socket, you need a mains cable with a C15 connector instead, like our X-25 or X-40 – the X-60 Silver Power doesn't fit C14 mechanically.
Our verdict
A reference mains cable for components that genuinely need a lot of current. Check the socket on your component before ordering – C19 instead of C15 isn't a minor detail, it decides whether the cable fits at all.

Frequently asked questions
Does the X-60 Silver Power fit my component?
Only if your component has a C20 high-current socket – a noticeably larger, usually rectangular socket than the standard C14 connector. Check the back of your component, or send us a photo, and we'll tell you whether C19 is the right choice.
Schuko or 5-15P – which plug do I need?
Schuko is the European mains plug for Schuko sockets and power strips, 5-15P is the American plug for US outlets. In Switzerland you usually use a power strip with Schuko inputs, where the Schuko version fits.
How stiff is the cable?
With a 6.0 mm² cross-section and full shielding, it's fairly stiff, similar to our X-40 or X-25 in their respective larger versions. Plan for a bend rather than routing the cable tightly behind the component, especially with the shortest length.
Why buy the ViaBlue X-60 Silver Power at HD Zürisee?
Because we check before ordering whether your component really has a C19 socket, instead of leaving you with a return afterwards. HD Zürisee in Wädenswil advises on power supply and rack setup; our technician Maurizio will handle the installation on site on request.
