ViaBlue SC-6 AIR Speaker Cable
The reference of the range: maximum cross-section for demanding speakers and powerful amplifiers. The SC-6 AIR delivers control and calm right down into the deep bass – single-wire or genuine bi-wire, with solid T8 banana or T8 spade connectors, ready-made. Matching jumpers for bi-wire terminals are also available.
Choose the version and length – from compact up to 7.5 metres.
Frequently Asked Questions
Which systems is the SC-6 AIR worthwhile for?
For demanding speakers on powerful amplifiers and for long cable runs. The large cross-section keeps line resistance low, which is especially noticeable as control in the deep bass. On a compact bookshelf speaker with a short run, on the other hand, the effort is hardly justified – SC-2 or SC-4 are enough there.
What versions and lengths are available?
Single-wire with T8 banana connectors or T8 spade connectors, genuine bi-wire with banana connectors, and jumpers in both connector types. The stereo pairs run from 150 to 750 centimetres, the jumpers measure 15 centimetres. Everything comes ready-made – you don't need to strip, solder, or terminate anything yourself.
Do I need the bi-wire version?
Only if your speaker has a double terminal with four clamps. With a single pair of clamps, bi-wire doesn't help. If you have a double terminal but want to run single-wire, it makes sense to replace the factory bridges with the matching jumpers from the same range – the same material all the way through.
Will the thick cable fit behind my speakers?
You should check this before ordering. A large cross-section means a large bending radius, and the solid T8 connectors add further length on top. If your speaker stands close to the wall, it will be tight – and nobody wants a sharply kinked cable. Measure the distance beforehand.
