The Vestlyd M8C Active is the larger version of the M6C Active: an 8-inch woofer with coaxial tweeter and four independent 75-watt Class D amplifiers per speaker deliver rich bass without a separate subwoofer – ideal for medium to large living rooms.

One cable for everything

TV via HDMI eARC, turntable via phono MM input, laptop via USB-C, plus Bluetooth 5.1 with aptX HD for wireless streaming – the M8C Active covers the usual home sources without an amplifier or streamer in between.

Finely tuned

The back panel lets you adjust bass and treble, choose between three sound profiles (Music, Movie, Neutral) and set the stereo width. The included remote handles volume and input selection from the sofa.

Frequently asked questions

Do I still need an amplifier for the M8C Active?

No. Each speaker has four of its own Class D amplifiers – just connect a source.

Is the M8C Active enough without a subwoofer?

Yes, for most living rooms: the manufacturer states the 8-inch woofer delivers bass below 40 Hz. If you want even more depth or level, you can add a subwoofer via the subwoofer output at any time.

How do the M6C and M8C Active differ?

Same concept, different size: the M8C Active has an 8-inch instead of a 6.5-inch woofer, reaching deeper into the bass as a result. The M6C is enough for smaller to medium rooms, the M8C is recommended for more volume and larger rooms.
