Sonox Q110 Floorstanding Speaker, White (Pair)

The Sonox Q110 is a slim 2-way floorstanding speaker column with a sealed acoustic-suspension enclosure that delivers clean, deep bass even close to walls or in room corners.

It's the largest, bassiest floorstander in the Q series: more cabinet volume, four dedicated subwoofer drivers – developed by the Swiss manufacturer ROWEN over three generations of speaker building.

Why the Sonox Q110?

The sealed sub-bass system ("acoustic suspension") with no fewer than four subwoofer drivers delivers deep, precise bass down to 25 Hz, without the typical bass-reflex boom – which is why you can place the column in a corner or close to a wall without the sound suffering. Up top, ROWEN's 18 mm fabric dome tweeter system takes over cleanly from 4,300 Hz, while below it an ultra-fast, wideband bass/mid system delivers excellent spatial imaging and high coherence.

What you hear

A wide soundstage, clear voices and rich, punchy bass down to 25 Hz – a sound that feels a size bigger than the Q80. Great for music as well as movie nights, even in larger living rooms.

Who is the Sonox Q110 suited for?

For living rooms that want the full floorstander sound and have a bit more space to spare than for the Q80 – the column stays slim to place despite its four sub-basses. Plain talk: the Q110 is a passive speaker, so you'll need an amplifier with a bit more headroom than for the smaller Q80. Wall bracket and floor spikes are available as optional accessories separately; and this cabinet type isn't designed for full concert-hall levels either.

Yes. The Q110 is a passive floorstander and needs an integrated or streaming amplifier. Thanks to its four subwoofer drivers it's a bit more demanding than the Q80 – we're happy to tell you what power suits your room.
