How thick can my speaker cables be?
The openings in the column are generously sized. Cables with a cross-section up to 4 mm² fit through without any trouble, which covers practically every HiFi application.

Are the glass plates unbreakable?
Yes, Sonorous uses thermally toughened safety glass. It's significantly stronger than ordinary glass and, in the unlikely event of breakage, crumbles into small, blunt pieces instead of sharp shards.

Do I absolutely have to use the spikes?
On carpet, they're practically essential for a firm stand. On hard flooring you can skip them, but then you lose the acoustic benefit of decoupling – in that case, we recommend the included protective pads.
