Is the Sonoro Vibes L suitable for outdoor use?

Yes. The Vibes L is splash-proof to IPX4 and easily handles moisture or a brief rain shower. It's made for the balcony, terrace and garden. It doesn't tolerate continuous rain or submersion – but it'll still appreciate a dry spot overnight.

How long does the battery last?

Up to 16 hours at normal volume. That easily covers an afternoon gathering right into the evening. At full volume, runtime drops accordingly. It's charged via power cable, and of course the Vibes L can also run permanently on mains power when it's in a fixed spot.

What's the difference to the Vibes XL?

The Vibes L is smaller, lighter (7.5 instead of 12.3 kg) and has a 6.5-inch instead of an 8-inch subwoofer. For living rooms, kitchens and balconies, it's the more manageable, more mobile choice. Anyone wanting to fill large, open spaces or the pool area with maximum punch should take the XL.

Do I need a subscription or WiFi?

No. The Vibes L plays directly via Bluetooth from your smartphone, tablet or laptop – no WiFi, no account, no paid subscription. You stream whatever you already use, or play local files. Streaming services are an option, not a requirement.

Can I play two Vibes together?

Yes. Via Auracast and Bluetooth LE Audio, several sonoro VIBES or compatible sonoro systems can be played simultaneously – ideal for larger areas or genuine stereo enjoyment. The full feature set is partly delivered via software update; we're happy to clarify the current status with you personally.
