What you hear

Is the Sonoro Vibes L suitable for outdoor use?

Yes. The Vibes L is splash-proof to IPX4 and easily handles moisture or a brief rain shower. It's built for balconies, terraces and gardens. It doesn't tolerate continuous rain or submersion – though a dry spot overnight never hurts.

How long does the battery last?

Up to 16 hours at normal volume. That easily covers an afternoon session right into the evening. At full volume, runtime drops accordingly. It charges via the power cable, and of course the Vibes L can also run permanently on mains power when it's set up in one place.

What's the difference to the Vibes XL?

The Vibes L is smaller, lighter (7.5 instead of 12.3 kg) and has a 6.5-inch instead of an 8-inch subwoofer. For living spaces, kitchens and balconies, it's the handier, more portable choice. Anyone wanting to fill large open spaces or a pool area with maximum output should go for the XL.

Do I need a subscription or WLAN?

No. The Vibes L plays directly via Bluetooth from your smartphone, tablet or laptop – no WLAN, no account, no paid subscription required. You stream whatever you already use, or play local files. Streaming services are an option, not a requirement.

Can I play two Vibes together?

Yes. Via Auracast and Bluetooth LE Audio, several sonoro VIBES units or compatible sonoro systems can play simultaneously – ideal for larger spaces or true stereo enjoyment. The full feature set is being rolled out partly via software update; we're happy to walk you through the current status personally.
