Rega RB Titanium Tonearm
Rega RB Titanium Tonearm
Couldn't load pickup availability
The Rega RB Titanium was originally developed exclusively for the Naia and is now available as a standalone upgrade tonearm: a one-piece titanium bearing housing with a titanium vertical spindle and a tungsten counterweight.
Why the RB Titanium?
Rega itself calls the RB Titanium 'the most advanced and precise production tonearm we have ever made' – no empty claim given the one-piece titanium bearing housing, the titanium vertical spindle, and the highly selected bearings fitted by interference fit. The tungsten counterweight and Neutrik professional connectors with a purpose-built low-capacitance phono cable round off a concept that was originally created without compromise for the Naia.
What you'll hear
The maximum that a tonearm in RB format can currently deliver – minimal mechanical self-resonance, maximum rigidity, tracking that no longer places any limits on the cartridge.
Who is the RB Titanium for? (and who isn't it for)
For owners of a Planar 10 or a comparably high-quality RB-mount deck who want a tonearm with no limits left. Straight talk: on an entry-level or mid-range deck, the extra cost is wasted – there, the RB330 or RB880 is the more economically sensible choice.
Our verdict
The most uncompromising RB tonearm outside factory Naia production. If your system is at reference level, you genuinely get here what's technically achievable in RB format.

Frequently asked questions
Which turntable is the RB Titanium designed for?
The RB Titanium was originally developed exclusively for the Naia and has recently become available as a standalone upgrade model for compatible RB-mount decks such as the Planar 10.
What makes the RB Titanium so special?
A one-piece titanium bearing housing with a titanium vertical spindle, a tungsten counterweight, and Neutrik professional connectors with a purpose-built low-capacitance phono cable – Rega calls it the most advanced and precise production tonearm the company has ever made.
Is the RB Titanium worthwhile on a Planar 3 or 6?
Technically possible, but rarely economically sensible – the RB Titanium only really shows its strengths on decks and cartridges at reference level, such as the Planar 10.
