Rega 24V Motor Upgrade Kit

The 24V motor kit upgrades Rega decks that don't have a factory 24-volt motor – a prerequisite for later benefiting from an external power supply like the Neo PSU MK2.

If you own an older Rega deck that doesn't yet come with a 24-volt motor from the factory, this kit still lets you enjoy an external power supply upgrade. We recommend installation by our technician – the motor swap isn't rocket science, but it needs to be aligned cleanly so speed stability and rumble figures come out right.

How do I know if my deck already has a 24V motor?

All current Rega models from the Planar 2 up are already 24-volt capable. For older or unclear cases, tell us the model and year, and we'll tell you right away whether the kit is needed.

Can I install the kit myself?

Technically skilled people can manage it, but for clean speed stability we recommend installation by our technician Mauri – including checking belt tension and motor alignment.
