With the Shibata profile, the Music series reaches high-end top end: the Shibata stylus has an even narrower, longer contact area than a Fine Line diamond and comes especially close to the original cutting stylus – more top-end energy, finer transients, a wider soundstage. Since all Music bodies use the same generator, the Black fits any model. The Music Black cartridge won the Golden Ear award in 2025 (1st place over 500 €, readers' poll of Audio/stereoplay) – and this is the diamond that delivers that sound.

Does the Stylus Music Black fit my Concorde?

It fits any Concorde Music body, from Red to Black LVB 250 – the generator and housing are identical across the whole series, only the diamond changes. It doesn't fit the MKII DJ series, which has its own stylus system.
