The Ortofon Concorde MKII Club Twin is a set of two elliptical Club cartridges, delivered with pre-mounted styli in a sturdy flight case for two-deck use.

Two sound-focused Club cartridges, one case: so both decks resolve equally finely – and you save a little compared with two separate purchases. For DJs who care about sound even in the club.

Why the Concorde MKII Club Twin?

Because the elliptical Special grind tracks more finely than the range's spherical models and, at 8 mV, delivers a clean signal with little feedback. Two identical cartridges mean both decks sound the same – no difference when you switch. The included flight case protects the more delicate elliptical styli between gigs, and the MKII generation's removable finger lift is on board twice.

What you get

Two complete Concorde Club cartridges with pre-mounted styli plus a flight case for transport. Both turntables deliver the same detailed, controlled reproduction – ideal for sound-conscious club and studio setups.

Who is the Club Twin for?

For club and studio DJs with two turntables who want finer resolution than the spherical cartridges offer. Straight talk: if you scratch hard on both decks, the tougher Scratch Twin serves you better – the elliptical Club wears faster under scratch loads. And if you only run one deck, take the Single.

Our verdict

The sound-conscious double pack for two decks: two matching elliptical cartridges, detailed and clean, protected in a case. For club and studio DJs who want more resolution, the right choice.

Frequently asked questions

What's included in the Concorde MKII Club Twin?

Two complete Concorde Club cartridges with styli already mounted, plus a flight case. Both turntables are ready to use straight away and, thanks to identical cartridges, resolve equally finely – no need to realign deck by deck. You don't need to buy anything else separately, just set the tonearm's tracking force to about 3 g.

Is the Twin set worthwhile compared to two separate Club cartridges?

If you want to equip two decks with sound in mind: yes. You get two guaranteed identical elliptical cartridges, the protective flight case, and you pay a bit less than for two individual packs. For only one deck, the Single is the more affordable choice.

Why buy the Concorde MKII Club Twin at HD Zürisee?

Because from practical experience we know when the elliptical Club pays off in a pair and when the spherical Scratch or DJ is the smarter choice. As an authorised Ortofon dealer in Wädenswil we handle the warranty correctly, and technician Mauri helps with mounting and setup.
