The Ortofon Concorde 5E is a moving-magnet cartridge with an elliptical stylus in the distinctive Concorde design – body and headshell in one piece, mounted without tools.

Concorde cartridges solve the most annoying problem with a cartridge swap: alignment. Body and headshell form a single unit, overhang and azimuth are correct from the factory – just clip it on and you're done. Ideal for any DJ or hi-fi tonearm with a bayonet (SME-type) connection.

Do I still need to align the Concorde 5E?
No – overhang and azimuth are correctly set at the factory thanks to the fixed body-headshell design. You just clip it onto the bayonet connection.

Does the Concorde 5E fit any tonearm?
Only tonearms with a bayonet/SME Concorde connection. With a universal headshell (1/2" standard), you need an OM model instead.

Can I upgrade the stylus later?
Yes, compatible options include the Stylus 5S, 5E, 10, 20 and 30.
