The NAD C700 V2 is a compact streaming integrated amplifier that combines a power amplifier, DAC and BluOS network streaming in a single aluminium housing.

A whole system in one box – and one you'll want to show off, not hide away in a rack.

Why the NAD C700 V2?

Because it makes cable clutter unnecessary. The HybridDigital UcD power stage delivers 2× 80 watts – enough for most bookshelf speakers and many floorstanders – and BluOS brings millions of tracks in High-Res, including MQA and multiroom, onto the screen. The high-resolution colour display shows cover art and status instead of a plain row of numbers. Add HDMI eARC so the TV joins in, and you simply control the volume with the TV remote.

What you get

Plenty of sources for the size of the housing: HDMI eARC, optical and coaxial digital, two analogue line inputs, plus an MM phono input for the turntable. A pre-out and subwoofer output allow for expansion, and bidirectional Bluetooth aptX HD is included. You can control everything via the BluOS app, the included remote or – for the TV – simply with the remote you're already holding.

Who is the NAD C700 V2 right for – and who isn't it right for?

Perfect if you want an elegant, complete system in a small space: streaming, TV sound and vinyl, without a separate streamer or DAC. Plain talk: the 2× 80 watts are ideal for normal living rooms, but no powerhouse for large, power-hungry floorstanders in big rooms – that's where the C399 or the M Series play in a different league. For most living rooms, the C700 V2 is exactly right.

Our verdict

The C700 V2 is the elegant all-in-one solution for the modern living room: enough power, full-fledged BluOS, HDMI eARC and phono – all in one stylish, compact housing. No more component towers.

Frequently asked questions

What's the difference between the NAD C700 V2 and the M10 V3?

Both are BluOS streaming amplifiers in a compact housing. The M10 V3 plays in a higher league: more power, Dirac Live room correction out of the box and a more premium housing with a glass front. The C700 V2 offers HDMI eARC and a very good overall package at a more attractive price. Which one fits depends on your speakers, budget and whether you want room correction.

Can I use the NAD C700 V2 with my TV?

Yes, it has HDMI eARC on board for exactly that. You connect the C700 V2 to the TV's eARC port, bringing the TV sound in good quality to your stereo speakers, and you control the volume conveniently with the TV remote. This often lets it replace a soundbar in the living room – a step up in sound quality.

Why buy the NAD C700 V2 from HD Zürisee?

At HD Zürisee in Wädenswil, we'll tell you honestly whether the C700 V2 suits your speakers and your room – or whether it's worth reaching for the M10 V3 instead. We set up BluOS, advise on the speaker combination and take care of warranty and service as an authorised NAD dealer.
