NAD C3050 + MDC2 BluOS Streaming Integrated Amplifier
Couldn't load pickup availability
The NAD C3050 is a stereo integrated amplifier with DAC and MM phono that, in this version, plays as a high-res network streamer from the moment you switch it on – thanks to a factory-fitted MDC2 BluOS-D module – complete with BluOS, Dirac Live and HDMI eARC.
On the outside a tribute to the NAD 3030 of the seventies: walnut cabinet, italic logo, dancing VU meters. On the inside, modern HybridDigital technology plus a ready-built streaming hub. At HD Zürisee in Wädenswil you get it ready to go – unbox, plug in, listen, without fitting a single module yourself.
Why this version with built-in BluOS
The C3050 is inherently an amplifier with an MDC2 slot – in this variant, we've already filled that slot with the MDC2 BluOS-D module. That saves you buying it separately and fitting it later, turning the retro amplifier straight into a fully-fledged streaming hub. The HybridDigital UcD power stage delivers 2 × 100 watts on top (briefly up to 135 watts) – cool, clean and controlled.
What the built-in module can do
With the BluOS-D module you stream losslessly over BluOS multiroom, get internet radio plus services like Qobuz or Tidal straight into the unit, and integrate the C3050 via AirPlay 2. Via HDMI eARC it becomes the heart of your TV setup, and Dirac Live room correction digitally tunes the sound to your room – no more boomy bass in the wrong corner. Vinyl plays via the low-noise MM phono input.
Who is this version made for – and who isn't it for?
Straight talk: Exactly right if you want retro looks, modern sound and ready-made streaming from one box, without having to think about modules. If you'd rather add the BluOS module yourself later, or listen purely in analogue at first, get the bare C3050 version. And if you prefer the plain black-and-aluminium look, the VU meters might be a bit too much show for you – though they're lovely nonetheless.
Our verdict
The most convenient way to own a C3050: an amplifier that looks like a collector's piece and streams like a modern high-fidelity device from the first minute. Tell us which speakers you have or are planning – we'll tell you honestly whether the C3050 brings the right amount of power.

Frequently asked questions
Is streaming already built into this C3050?
Yes. The MDC2 BluOS-D module is fitted at the factory. The C3050 is therefore a full-blooded BluOS streamer with Dirac Live, AirPlay 2 and HDMI eARC without any upgrade needed. You don't have to buy or have a module fitted separately – the unit is ready to go.
What exactly can the BluOS-D module do?
It turns the C3050 into a streaming hub: lossless BluOS multiroom, services like Qobuz, Tidal and Spotify, internet radio, AirPlay 2 as well as HDMI eARC for the TV. On top of that comes Dirac Live, which digitally tunes the sound to your listening room via a calibration microphone.
Do I need a paid subscription for the C3050?
No. The C3050 also plays without a subscription: internet radio, network files, a turntable via phono, TV via HDMI eARC and Bluetooth from your smartphone. Streaming services like Qobuz or Tidal are an option, not a requirement.
How much power does the C3050 have?
The C3050 delivers 2 × 100 watts continuous power into 8 and 4 ohms, briefly up to 135 watts. That confidently drives bookshelf and floorstanding speakers alike in small to medium-sized rooms and stays in control of the bass even at higher levels.
Why buy the NAD C3050 at HD Zürisee?

Goes well with: floorstanding speakers, bookshelf speakers, a turntable for the phono input and good speaker cables.
