The LG DS95TR is a premium soundbar with 9.1.5 channels, 810 watts and Dolby Atmos plus DTS:X – a full home cinema system in soundbar form, universal for any TV via HDMI eARC.

9 speakers, 1 subwoofer, 5 height channels: this isn't stereo with bass, it's sound from the front, sides, rear and overhead.

Why the LG DS95TR?

Because it disproves the argument that “soundbars never sound good enough.” 9.1.5 channels and 810 watts deliver genuine three-dimensional spatial sound with headroom that stays clean even at high volume. Dolby Atmos and DTS:X (including DTS:X Pro) cover both major 3D audio formats.

What you hear

Spatial sound from all directions – front, sides, rear and overhead. Films get the height and envelopment of a real home cinema, music gets dynamics and punch. Connected to any TV via HDMI eARC.

Who is the DS95TR suited for – and who isn't it for?

Straight talk: The right choice if you want the maximum soundbar experience and the extra channels and power are worth the higher price to you – also as an upgrade to an existing setup. If you're just after the simple, design-matched companion to your LG OLED, the DSC9S (C6) or DSG10TY (G6) are the more affordable route.

Does the DS95TR also work with a TV from another brand?

Yes. Via HDMI eARC it plays with virtually any current TV – not just LG. It's the universal solution of the trio.

Our verdict

Home cinema in soundbar form: 9.1.5, 810 W, Dolby Atmos and DTS:X – universal and uncompromising. At HD Zürisee in Wädenswil, you can hear it in advance and we'll install it cleanly for you.

Frequently asked questions

What does 9.1.5 mean?

9 speaker channels at ear level, 1 subwoofer channel for bass, and 5 upward-firing height channels for the Dolby Atmos effect. Together this creates genuine spatial sound, including the ceiling layer.

Are the subwoofer and rear speakers wireless?

Yes. The subwoofer and both rear speakers connect to the soundbar wirelessly – you just need a power outlet nearby for each. That brings genuine surround sound from behind and below into the room without running speaker cables across it.
