LG 100MRGB96B9

The LG 100MRGB96B9 is a 100-inch 4K TV with LG's new Micro RGB evo technology (Mini LED) and alpha 11 Gen3 processor – a premium LED with triple 100% color coverage, built as a bright alternative to OLED for light-flooded rooms.

100 inches, around 2.5 meters of picture width: this is home cinema in a dimension you plan for, not just set up on the side. Delivered and set up by us on request.

Why the LG 100MRGB96B9?

Because Micro RGB combines color and brightness that usually live apart. Instead of white LEDs behind a color filter, this TV has independent RGB light units – giving you reference-level color purity at a peak brightness no OLED reaches. The alpha 11 Gen3 with Dual AI Engine upscales picture and sound in real time, so even Full HD sources look clean on the 4K panel. webOS 26 brings all the services plus Gemini and Copilot.

What you see

An extremely bright, color-accurate picture with triple 100% color coverage – DCI-P3, Adobe RGB and BT.2020 at once: whatever color space the content uses, you see it correctly. Plus Dolby Vision, HDR10 and HLG for the picture and Dolby Atmos for the sound.

Who is the 100MRGB96B9 suited for – and who isn't it for?

Straight talk: Built for large, bright rooms and home cinema ambitions – seating distance at least 3.5, better 4 meters, and the wall or furniture has to carry the surface. For a normal living room it's simply too massive – there, 75 or 86 inches is the sensible choice. The flat body doesn't deliver deep bass – plan for sound separately.

What's the difference between Micro RGB and OLED?

OLED lights up pixel by pixel and delivers perfect black, but doesn't get as bright. Micro RGB (Mini LED with independent RGB light units) reaches significantly higher peak brightness with very pure color – the better choice for bright rooms. We'll show you which type suits your room in a direct comparison.

Our verdict

The big-screen statement for bright rooms: 100 inches of Micro RGB with triple color coverage and a brightness that OLED can't match here. If you have the space and the ambition, you get reference color in XXL format. At HD Zürisee in Wädenswil, we plan placement, delivery and installation with you.
