The KECES P6 is a linear dual-zone power supply that feeds digital audio devices such as streamers, DACs or network switches with clean, analogue power – as a replacement for the supplied switch-mode power supply.
Instead of a small plug-in adapter, a toroidal transformer works here inside a 4 mm thick aluminium housing. Supplied as a single unit with two DC cables and mains cable.
Why the KECES P6?
Because the power supply of digital sources audibly plays a part. Many streamers and DACs come from the factory on a switch-mode power supply that injects high-frequency interference into the audio chain. The P6 replaces it with a purely analogue linear power supply with no integrated switching circuits, two separate zones and their own earth per zone. Voltages from 5 to 24 volts are selectable, adapting it to a streamer, DAC or switch.
What you get
A calmer background: less digital harshness, more fine detail. Both zones each deliver up to 3 A – so you can power two devices simultaneously, say a streamer and a DAC, without them getting in each other's way.
Who is the P6 suited for – and who isn't it for?
Plain talk: the P6 is the ideal entry into clean linear power supply – compact, affordable, effective. If you want to feed a whole rack full of power-hungry devices, you're better off with the larger P9, P14 or P28. A tip from experience: check the voltage set on the selector switch twice before connecting – your streamer will thank you.
What voltage does my device need?
That depends on the device; common values are 5, 9 or 12 volts. The correct voltage is in your streamer's or DAC's datasheet – if in doubt, we'll set it correctly for you.
Our verdict
The compact powerhouse for getting into genuine linear power supply: purely analogue, two zones, solidly built. If you want to give your digital sources more calm, this is where you start. At HD Zürisee in Wädenswil, we set voltage and zones to match your devices.

Frequently Asked Questions
What does a linear power supply offer over the supplied plug-in one?
A linear power supply works with a transformer and purely analogue circuitry and doesn't generate high-frequency switching noise. As a result, the background feels calmer and details stand out more clearly – especially with streamers, DACs and switches.
Can I use both zones at the same time?
Yes, both zones independently deliver up to 3 A each. You can power two devices in parallel; the separate earthing stops them from interfering with each other.
Why buy the KECES P6 from HD Zürisee?
Because a power supply has to match the device and voltage. We choose the right zone and voltage with you and integrate it cleanly into your chain – in Wädenswil, with our own technician. Free shipping from CHF 190.
