KECES P28 Linear Power Supply

The KECES P28 is the brand's linear power supply flagship: a purely analogue multi-zone power supply that feeds up to six audio devices simultaneously with clean power – each zone fully isolated and with its own earth.

Where smaller power supplies feed two to four devices, the P28 covers a complete, multi-part digital and pre-amp chain. Supplied as a single unit with a DC cable set and mains cable.

Why the KECES P28?

Because with large chains, power is the foundation. Six separate zones with their own earth stop one device from disturbing another; the discrete circuitry does without integrated chips, and a massive toroidal transformer delivers hum-free energy even under load. The built-in USB isolator keeps computer interference away from the DAC.

What you get

An uncompromising power hub with plenty of reserve: ripple stays below 10 µV under normal load, and Zone IV delivers a full 10 A – enough to feed even power-hungry music servers or small amplifiers. The separate earth per zone also clears up ground loops.

Who is the P28 suited for – and who isn't it for?

Plain talk: the P28 is meant for large, multi-part high-end chains that want many devices cleanly powered. For a lean streamer-DAC combo, it's simply too much of a good thing – the P6, P9 or P14 are enough there. At 14 kg and 133 mm tall, it needs full rack space and a bit of room to breathe.

What does "discrete circuit design without ICs" mean?

KECES builds the circuit from individual, high-quality components instead of standard chips. That's more elaborate but allows more precise control over noise and sonic behaviour.

How many devices can the P28 power?

Up to six at once: five DC zones with selectable voltage and current up to 10 A plus a USB zone with isolator. Each zone is isolated and individually earthed.

What is the 10 A zone for?

For particularly power-hungry loads such as large music servers or small amplifiers that would overwhelm other linear power supplies. We plan with you which devices go on which zone.
