The KECES P14 is a linear multi-zone power supply that feeds up to four digital audio devices simultaneously with clean, analogue power – including its own USB isolator for the computer connection to a DAC.

Four mutually isolated zones, each with its own earth, turn the P14 into the power hub for an entire digital chain. Supplied as a single unit with a DC cable set and mains cable.

Why the KECES P14?

Because a multi-part digital chain – bridge, switch, DAC – needs plenty of clean power from separate sources. The P14 works purely in analogue with no integrated switching circuits, four zones with their own earth prevent mutual crosstalk, and a massive toroidal transformer delivers hum-free energy. The built-in USB isolator additionally separates out the "dirt" from computer connections.

What you get

A central, quiet power supply for multiple devices instead of a jumble of plug-in adapters. Zone II is rated a particularly strong 6 A and also feeds hungry streamers; ripple stays below 10 µV at 60 % load – practically noise-free.

Who is the P14 suited for – and who isn't it for?

Plain talk: the P14 pays off as soon as you want to feed several digital devices cleanly – for a single device it's overkill, the P6 or P9 is enough there. At 7 kg of solid aluminium, it's a serious piece of technology that needs a fixed spot in the rack. If you want to calm your entire digital hub in one go, four separate rails give you exactly that.

What does the USB isolator do?

It breaks the electrical connection between computer and DAC and only lets the audio data through – interference from the PC's power supply stays outside. It supports PCM up to 24-bit/96 kHz and DSD64.

Our verdict

The clean power hub for demanding digital chains: four isolated zones, USB isolator, purely analogue. If you want to calm streamer, switch and DAC together, this is the right place. At HD Zürisee in Wädenswil, we plan the zone allocation for your devices.

What the trade press says: "Money spent on a Keces P14 seems very well invested, because it makes its capacity for sonic improvement clearly and unmistakably audible." – HIFISTATEMENT, 2023.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many devices can the P14 power?

Up to four at once: three DC zones with selectable voltage plus a USB zone with isolator. Each zone has its own earth so the devices don't interfere with each other.

What does "separate earth per zone" mean?

Each zone works electrically independently. Interference caused by, say, a switch doesn't jump across the power supply onto your sensitive DAC.

Why buy the KECES P14 from HD Zürisee?

Because a multi-zone supply needs planning: which zone, which voltage, which device. We take care of that with you – in Wädenswil, with our own technician. Free shipping from CHF 190.
