KECES Set: Ewave, P6 & Valentina DC Cable

The KECES Ewave set is a matched package of audio network switch, linear power supply and matching DC cable for the digital side of your system.

It takes away the question of which power supply and which cable belong with the switch – and as a set costs noticeably less than the three parts bought separately. Included are the Ewave, a KECES P6 and a Valentina DC cable.

Why the set instead of the individual parts?

Because the Ewave only shows its potential with a clean power supply. It ships with a simple wall wart, which is a contradiction for a device meant to keep noise out of the network. The P6 replaces it with a purely analogue supply from a toroidal transformer, and the Valentina cable connects the two without contact resistance from a drawer full of spares. Three parts, one logic.

What you get

A calmer digital foundation. The Ewave uses its temperature-stabilised 25 MHz OCXO clock to order the data stream between router and streamer, the P6 keeps high-frequency switching noise out of the picture, and because the P6 has two separate zones, one stays free for a second device – a streamer or a DAC, say.

Who is the set for – and who isn't it for?

Straight talk: if you only listen to internet radio now and then, you don't need this. But if you stream in high resolution via Roon, Tidal or Qobuz and have already invested in a streamer and DAC, this set closes the last open flank. And let's be honest: a network switch for the living room isn't something you buy by accident – if you're reading this, you usually already know why.

Frequently asked questions

Which Valentina version is included in the set?

Whichever matches your devices. There's the Valentina 1 with a 2.5 mm pin on both ends and the Valentina 2 with 2.1 mm to 2.5 mm. Tell us which device you want to power when ordering, and we'll include the right variant.

Can I use the P6 for a second device too?

Yes. The P6 has two independent zones with up to 3 amps each and separate grounding. The Ewave only occupies one of them at 12 volts; the second zone stays free for a streamer, a DAC or a reclocker – you'll need a matching DC cable for that as well.

What do I save compared to buying separately?

Around two hundred francs compared with the three individual prices. More important than the discount, though, is that voltage, connector type and cable length match from the start – experience shows that's the most common stumbling block when adding gear later.
