KECES Ephono+ Phono Preamp with Power Supply

The KECES Ephono+ is a phono preamp with an outboard linear power supply – for MM and MC cartridges and even for optical systems (DS Audio). Two separate enclosures keep the sensitive amplification away from the power supply.

The strict separation of power supply and audio circuitry is the whole point here: a cartridge's signal is tiny and reacts sensitively to interference. Supplied as a preamp plus separate power supply with connecting cable.

Why the KECES Ephono+?

Because separate enclosures minimise interference. The external power supply works internally at ±24 V via a KECES H-Sonic toroidal transformer. Gain and impedance are finely adjustable, a switchable subsonic filter removes the lowest interference frequencies from warped records, and connections are available both balanced (XLR) and unbalanced (RCA).
