The KECES Ebravo is a pure network transport (a streamer without its own D/A converter): it pulls your music from the network and passes it on to your DAC galvanically isolated and freshly reclocked.
Instead of a built-in converter, the Ebravo focuses on one thing: delivering the digital signal to the next stage as cleanly as possible – via AES/EBU, coax or optical. Supplied as a single unit with a plug-in power supply.
Why the KECES Ebravo?
Because the source has a say in how a digital chain sounds. Galvanic isolation keeps network noise away from the audio signal, and a low-jitter reclocker realigns the digital clock. Bit-perfect up to 24-bit/192 kHz, with Ethernet or dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1 and JPLAY certification – controllable from the usual apps, including Spotify Connect and TIDAL Connect.
What you get
A compact, quiet streaming bridge with a professional AES output – a clean source for an existing DAC, without having to buy a whole network player.
Who is the Ebravo suited for – and who isn't it for?
Plain talk: the Ebravo has no built-in converter – you absolutely need an external DAC or an amplifier with a digital input. If you're after an all-in-one solution with a DAC, you're better served elsewhere. If you want a clean bridge for your good DAC, you're in exactly the right place.
Can the Ebravo be upgraded sonically?
Yes. Instead of the supplied plug-in power supply, you can run it from a KECES linear power supply (e.g. the P6 or P14) – that's the obvious next upgrade, or straight away as a set with the P6.
Our verdict
A specialised transport that performs far above its price class: galvanically isolated, freshly reclocked, app-controlled. At HD Zürisee in Wädenswil, we integrate it cleanly into your chain and your network.
