The Focal Aria EVO X N°3/N°1/Center Set is a matched home-cinema front from the French Aria EVO X series: two N°3 floorstanders as the front, the matching center for dialogue, and a pair of N°1 bookshelf speakers for the rear channels.

Every model shares the same Flax cone made from French flax and the same inverted TAM tweeter – the prerequisite for identical tonal color across all channels and a seamless surround sound. Supplied in Walnut (Prime Walnut) finish.

Straight talk: the N°3 set is the right choice for medium to larger living rooms where dynamics matter, without powerful 21 cm woofers overwhelming the room. In a small 15 m² room it's overkill – the N°2 set is enough there. And the N°3 dips to 2.8 Ω in the bass: a discount-store receiver holds it back, while a stable amplifier (MOON, for instance) lets it breathe.

Do I need a subwoofer with this set?

Not for music – the N°3's three woofers deliver enough foundation. For home cinema with tangible deep bass and infrasound, a subwoofer (e.g. the Focal SUB 1000F) adds the final punch.
